Curriculum Vidae (CVD) App

CVD is an innovative mobile app currently available on the iOS App Store, designed to allow job seekers to efficiently produce professional video CVs, significantly enhancing their chances of landing a job by providing a more dynamic and personal representation of their skills and experience. By incorporating video CVs in the recruitment process, employers can accelerate the process of finding the right candidate in a fraction of the usual time. The company behind CVD, Communication Open, is based in Switzerland and was founded by two visionaries, Emmanuel Bichet and Elodie Anglade.

Engagement and Approach

In July 2022, Communication Open engaged OSKY to conduct an in-depth business analysis to ascertain the functional specifications and business requirements for the app. Our approach was to develop the CVD app from the ground up using React Native, ensuring a seamless and high-performance native iOS experience. The project included several key features:

• Integration with OpenAI for video script generation to automate video script creation for job seekers
• Built-in video editor providing a robust tool for users to edit and enhance their video resumes directly
• Video streaming function enabling real-time video streaming to facilitate live interviews and interactive sessions
• Multi-lingual function supporting multiple languages to cater to a diverse user base
• An end-to-end process guiding the client through discovery, prototyping, proof of concept, and final product launch over a period of 15 months
